Hi, I’m Carrie.

It’s been a few years since I’ve done anything with this website, and since I’m paying a hosting fee every year I may as well use it.

I want to start putting some things out into the world again. I’ve been feeling creatively dry, and I find that one of the best ways for me to be consistently creative is to force myself to put my writing somewhere, even if that’s just this vast void of the internet.

In the first half of 2022, I moved across the country and wrote a 90,000 word draft of a novel. Both of these actions impacted who I am and who I want to be, and reminded me that if I thought I had everything figured out, I was wrong.

I’ve left up some of the poems and posts that aren’t too embarrassing and that still hold meaning for me, and I’ve archived some that don’t.
